Help!  We're Shrinking!!

Fifth grade students of  Treasure Hills Elementary in Harlingen, Texas, have adopted many acres of different tropical rain forest across the globe through "Adopt an Acre" sponsored by a Texas based save the earth foundation.  Each year students in fifth grade take an area of study and create an in-depth presentation for the other grade levels at Treasure Hills Elementary. In addition to the presentation, a tropical rain forest is created in the fifth grade hall for tours.

The unit is created by the following teachers of Fifth Grade: Lynda Harden, Diane Henderson, Geney Stanteen, Jennifer Tyler and librarian, Vicki Galbreath.

We invite your comments or suggestions.   Please contact one of the above teachers.
