ONLINE PUBLIC
ACCESS CATALOG (OPAC)
|
Travis’ library has Online Public
Access Catalog (OPAC). It is used instead of the card catalog
file, although the file is still in the library. Students and
teachers may electronically check Travis’
library collection to see what resources are available by using
any computer on the Travis campus.
To
access OPAC:
- Log on to the computer network,
PATRON. No password.
- Click on the Start button, go to
Programs,
- Click on Follett.
Once
the OPAC windows opens, you may search the collection by title, author,
subject and/or keywords. Not only will you be able to see if the
library has the item needed, but you will also be able to see if it is
available, where it is located in the library, and other
pertinent information.
